Influences on Consumer Engagement with Sustainability and the Purchase Intention of Apparel Products

Apparel and textile products are filling landfills contributing to extensive waste found across the world. Much of is due typical consumer not being aware care for, disposal of, sustainable options for products. To identify consumers’ intention engage in practices purchase apparel options, this study measured attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral controls. Data were collected from a sample 397 participants through Qualtrics online survey disseminated on Amazon’s MTurk. Results multiple regression analysis yielded three note: (1) positive attitude toward recycling environment related higher behavior, (2) green leads products, (3) family friends convenience finding stores have also influenced apparel. Thus, provides significant insights into both behavior serves as foundation future studies engagement
